Macedonian director Ilija Piperkoski, who studied in Bucharest, made his first movie "Me and my life without some things" by following the journey of Dumitru Dragosh, 22 years-old Gipsy, through Romania, who is trying to find his father. Search finishes completely unexpected, but through it we can find distressful life story of Dragosh who after all won't loose his cheerfulness and decisiveness.

This film speaks about the impossibility of Croatian war veterans to socialise into today Croatian society, due to the fact that in Croatia – a country in transition in which the unscrupulous capitalism rules, only a few understand their illness and their needs.

I'll Kill Ya' was made as a student's practice at 3rd year of Film and TV direction at the Academy of Drama Arts. Film sheds light to a tragic event that happened in Zagreb on Christmas Eve 1998 - event that lasted only few seconds, but with life long consequences. Trial and serving the penalty lasted almost 10 years. Nikola Strašek spent 2 years with protagonists collecting intriguing, extravagant and sometimes shocking materials.
Nikola Strašek was born in Zagreb in 1978. He finished Classical Gymnasium, studied comparative literature and Latin at Faculty of Philosophy, and is currently finishing Academy of Drama Arts in Zagreb, TV and Film Direction.

“Mirror, mirror” is a film about the Image of Women in the Kosovar Televisions, which explores, challenges and reflects the way women are represented in media. Following several teenage Kosovar girls and how they are influenced by the portrayal of women on TV, the film demonstrates how this representation affects young girls and women.

Every morning during the last 25 years beach, hereditary photographer Eugeniy and his camel, bought in Kalmyk steppe, are on their way to their habitual working place - beach at the Black Sea shore, a world of naked people.
To be more correct: NUDE people, in all meanings of this word – nominal as well as figurative.
The film shows a variety of characters, which shape a unique portrait of the state of the human world in which we live. Both irony and melancholy, cleanliness and meanness, love stories and betrayal, life and death are depicted in their development.

In the Greek village of Sugar Town, men have a serious problem. Women are fleeing the area in search of work or marriage in the big cities, leaving them behind- and lonely. Their cunning mayor promises the men to find them wives in order to get re-elected. He contacts the mayor of the Russian town of Klin, who gathers 100 young women looking for foreign husbands. Against the odds and local traditions which frown upon mixed marriages, the men from Sugar Town set out on a great journey to find their future brides.

The powerful earthquake that struck the ancient city of Bam in southeastern Iran on December 26, 2003, killed over 43,000 people, injured 20,000, and left 60,000 inhabitants homeless. Inspired by snapshots uncovered in the rubble, which are the only remaining tangible reminders of life before the quake, the filmmakers almost seem to be overhearing the city's inhabitants, who try to go on with their lives one year later. The grief and guilt expressed by the survivors strike a universal chord, and the indomitable life force they embody is unforgettable.
Born in 1968, Maasja Ooms studied Photography at the Dutch Academy of Arts and the Dutch Film and Television Academy. She has worked with van der Horst since The Lady with the White Hat. Ooms was the cinematographer for many documentaries, and in 2003 she started co directing documentaries.
